Early Life and Education Story of Varun Chawla

Varun Chawla was born in Hyderabad and began his adventure with his maternal grandparents before spending time in Saudi Arabia. He was raised in Delhi, studied at Birla Vidya Niketan, and as a student, he used to participate in extracurricular activities. Despite being categorized as an ordinary student, his eagerness for a variety of things grew.

The first month of his life. His early years in Saudi Arabia and, subsequently, in Delhi, shaped his journey, influenced by his diligent and compassionate mother. He has average academic achievement but a strong interest in extracurricular activities. 

He applied abroad his parents supported him and encouraged him to gain admission to a good college 

He went through the SCT & application writing process and in the end, he got admission to Cornell University(Ithaca, New York). 

Like every student, he was also so excited about the new journey he took admission to electrical engineering as he liked to work with computers and make computers.

When he started college after some classes, he realised that he much liked working with computers rather than making computers. Electrical engineering was a four-year course.

After three semesters he switched his course to applied economics and management included economics, accounting, and statistics. 

He learnt a lot at his university, where he met amazing people and had a great experience.

After college, he decided to work with Goldman Sachs an American financial company where he did equity research and transit missionally surplus journalist.

He liked it too much and he worked too many hours to be accounted statical and professional in these fields

He worked with Goldman Sachs for 5 years in New York & Bangalore and got great experience and basics.

He decided to start his startup. He talked to his father about his startup plans.

His father said you have your savings and no one is dependent on you can freely live in my home so why do you stop with his father’s support he started his startups.

He started 8 different startups a trading hedge fund to concierge business & a travel tech company.

The experience was revolutionary, educating him about finance, professionalism, and the importance of hard work.

especially, he played an important role in establishing Goldman Sachs’ offices in Bangalore and Mumbai, demonstrating leadership outside the traditional corporate roles.

The decision to leave the corporate sector and pursue entrepreneurship was motivated by the idea that labor should serve a purpose other than financial gain.

Today he is making build3 a startup studio that has heart- A startup studio that wants to have a good future, and just doesn’t believe in giving advice or cheques. Rather work deeply with the founder.

When he talks about his important moments he says he had only two important moments first when he was 25-26 years old when he worked with Goldman Sachs where he got a lot of experience and learned new things 

He says that he had big dreams and desires and he couldn’t satisfy them without fulfilling them it made him go towards entrepreneurship where he could work on my thoughts, ideas, and things which made me excited.

His first entrepreneurial journey started with his first successful springboard out of his 5 unsuccessful attempts.

He also says that it was an idea from Goldman Sachs’s book After that success his startups & ideas continued.

During covid- 19

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, he was making his 91springboard startup which is now located in a community with aesthetic & strategic purposes and is successfully capable.

When COVID-19 started affecting him. He manifested that he could be successful, and then he completed this with new support and made it successful  

Founding 91springboard

In 2013, he co-founded 91springboard, a company that aimed to revolutionize workspaces in India.

 He imagined a thriving community for startups, freelancers, and business owners at a period when the concept of co-working was novel. 

The hurdles were genuine, but 91springboard expanded slowly, eventually becoming a co-working powerhouse with 14,000 members and a vibrant, collaborative environment.

His business spirit did not end there. The year 2020, highlighted by the global pandemic, spurred a change in focus. 

He established build3, a startup studio with a heart. This initiative goes beyond traditional incubation by actively collaborating with early-stage enterprises, resulting in a positive influence on society. 

The vision has moved to create firms that not only succeed but also contribute to a warmer, happier, and healthier planet.
